Autumn Cohort 2023
London Borough of Greenwich
As part of our Autumn Cohort 2023, Louise was placed as a Project Manager for Retrofit projects at the London Borough of Greenwich. During her placement, she brought her design and retrofit expertise to the Housing Sustainability team.
Her primary focus was on delivering the borough's first large-scale retrofit programme under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, while also shaping the strategy for future retrofit initiatives. Louise was responsible for managing the project liaising with consultants, contractors, and residents. Her architectural skills were essential in coordinating and reviewing retrofit designs for homes and overseeing contractor work to ensure designs were delivered effectively. Additionally, she played a key role in upskilling her team to support the success of the retrofit programme.
