Autumn Cohort 2023

Lewes District & Eastbourne Council

As part of our Autumn Cohort 2023, Chris worked as a strategic project manager within the council's development team, focusing on both commercial and external projects. He played a key role in delivering a new arts, education, and cultural centre in the South Downs National Park, a Levelling Up funded project in partnership with the Towner Art Gallery. This project transformed an existing farm site into a vibrant cultural hub, creating 40 new jobs, at least 16 creative studio spaces, and linking strongly with the visitor economy, expecting 100,000 annual visitors. Chris also managed the East Sussex College Estate Transformation project, overseeing project management services through a service level agreement with the council.
