About

Kirsten is an experienced architect with a wide range of experience across various sectors, including higher education and the arts, for both public and private sector clients. She has led multidisciplinary design teams to design, detail and deliver ambitious projects with a sustainable, democratic, and socially responsible agenda. Kirsten is particularly interested in strengthening a sense of place to facilitate change in communities and support people in living longer, healthier lives. Kirsten is motivated by the challenge to shape buildings, towns, and cities to be more sustainable by improving movement, nature, air quality, and nutrition, which are fundamental for health and wellbeing. She believes that by designing great places to live, work, and play, it is possible to sustainably improve the quality of people’s lives and make a lasting difference in the world around us.
