Dami Sanda

Principal Design Officer

About

Dami is an architect specialising in residential and mixed-use architecture. She has a strong interest in how housing and placemaking can contribute to establishing vibrant communities. Her masters thesis examined the effect of changing political ideology, economic approaches, and sociocultural preferences on the British housing system.

Before joining the Spring Cohort 2023, Dami worked for London-based private practices across housing and urban regeneration projects for the public and private sectors. Many of these projects transformed brownfield sites – combining public realm, new homes, and commercial space to revitalise the urban fabric.

Dami was also active in promoting diversity and inclusion in her practice and the wider profession. She has mentored students through the PoC in Architecture initiative and at the Manchester School of Architecture.
