Autumn Cohort 2024
London Borough of Richmond & Wandsworth
During his placement, Alexander split his work across two core areas: developing Local Implementation Plan (LIP) schemes and coordinating funding processes to support borough transport priorities. He supported feasibility assessments, refined design proposals, and helped align schemes with strategic objectives. Alexander also contributed to programme management by tracking budgets, preparing business cases, and coordinating stakeholders. His work strengthened the councils’ ability to deliver active travel, road safety and public realm improvements.
