Chukwumaobi Ibe

Chukwumaobi is a built environment professional with experience as a building sustainability professional. He specialises in housing, sustainability, and local government and excels in policy analysis and development. Chukwumaobi is currently engaged in pioneering work, integrating Scan-BIM technology and Building Information Modelling for building deconstruction planning. Holding an MSc in Civil Engineering and Architecture Sciences with Distinction, he is proficient in Lifecycle Assessment, BIM, BREEAM certification, and energy modelling. His expertise extends to teaching, research, and mentoring as a graduate teaching assistant in Sheffield, UK, and he has a track record of peer-reviewed publications. As an active member of professional institutions, including CIOB, CIBSE and CIWM, Chukwumaobi is recognised for his commitment to sustainable design and holds certifications in BREEAM, LEED, and Construction Lifecycle Assessment.
